Description

Betta native to Indonesia. Found in shaded acidic swamp forest waters over soft mud with leaf litter. It is a bubblenester that prefers blackwater environments and should be kept in soft acidic water that is well filtered at temperatures in the mid 70s F. Pairs can be housed in a 5 gallon tank, while groups should be housed in a 20 gallon tank or larger. Pairs should be given cover such as caves and plants.
