Description

Betta cracens is native to the Jambi region of Indonesia. A paternal mouthbrooder with the male incubating from 12 to 18 days with 14 days being very consistent. They are very tolerant of water chemistry and should be housed at temperatures that are cool to mid 70s F. Pairs can be housed in a 10 gallon tank, while groups should be housed in a 30 gallon tank or larger. Pairs should be given cover such as caves and plants.
