Description

A squeaker catfish native to the Dja drainage (middle Congo River basin) in Cameroon, Africa. Found near or just above the river floor, it feeds on plant detritus, organic matter, small invertebrates, algae and biofilm. An oviparous egg laying species which forms a distinct pair during breeding.
