Common Name: Incomati suckermouth
Native to the Crocodile-Incomati system in Africa, Chiloglanis bifurcus is found in rocky rapids and cascades, preferring deeper water over cobbles. It feeds on benthic invertebrates such as mayfly and caddis fly nymphs, blackfly and midge larvae and small snails. It breeds during the summer and is a partial spawner.
